I thrive in the great outdoors, whether that's scaling mountains, traversing trails, or exploring remote corners of the globe by kayak. I’m an adventurer at heart and love to embrace challenges and push my limits.

Since retiring from twenty years of playing rugby, I’ve competed in adventure racing and cyclocross to a high level. More recently, I’ve taken on some gruelling ultra-distance running events, and traversed countries from end to end on my bike.

When possible, I like to use my adventures as an opportunity to help worthy causes and I’m pleased to have been able to raise tens of thousands of pounds for some great charities. One challenge involved cycling from Gibraltar back to the UK, and I was thrilled to raise £15k for Against Breast Cancer. Now I’m setting my sights on surpassing this milestone by participating in the Trans Balkans Race on May 31, 2024.

Beyond my physical pursuits, I’m also a serial entrepreneur, having founded two startups: BidNstay.com and Nestbedz.co.uk.
